Within the framework of a company partnership, it comes as natural that you would inform your staff about a project and your commitment to it. But it also makes sense to enlist them as active supporters. In this way, your involvement will be concretely confirmed and identification with your project will increase.
At the same time, it can be an important motivation for your employees to participate in fundraisers, if the donated amount is rounded or matched by company management (Matching Funds).
There is no limit to creativity when it comes to staff activities. Here are only a few suggestions:
- Start an appeal among your employees, be it via intranet, employee newsletter or
information posted at frequented employee meeting points, e. g. the cafeteria or the foyer.
- Staff members can also take on Sponsorships for the SOS project, either on their own or in
a team.
- Initiate a „Donation after the Decimal Point“ and invite your employees to donate the
fractional amount after the decimal point of their monthly salaries.
- Use internal company events, anniversaries, birthday or Christmas parties for join-in
activities or appeals, for example in the form of a raffle.
- Organize special fundraisers, e. g. a soccer tournament, a charity run, a cooking duel or a
charity concert.
